Richard Holmes

Here are some things about me and what I do outside the station.

I love music in all of its forms, from pop through to classical and all shades and varieties in between.

I am a trust member of both Arrowe Park Hospital Trust and the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. I wanted to give something back after several family members and friends had the benefit of being treated and made well by the medical teams at both hospitals.

I have always loved helping people and I appreciate and enjoy being able to speak to patients directly and over the airwaves of Arrowe Sound. My Sunday Brekkie show allows me to hear from Patients and Trust staff and play the music they like.

Outside the radio station my great passions are my wife Christine, Food and Drink. I cook and want to get to the highest level I can. I have also been studying (and drinking) wine for over 30 years. I often deliver wine talks and tastings, usually to raise funds for local charities.
