Arrowe Sound Hospital Radio are always looking for new members to join our great team of volunteers and broadcasters.

We have had members go on to broadcasting on Community Radio, Local Radio, Including BBC Local Radio, Capital and Radio 1!

Here at Arrowe Sound Hospital Radio we have a number of areas where you can volunteer:

Radio Presenter – We are looking for new and old presenters of any age, whether you have done radio presenting before or it’s your first time but you would like to have a go, we want to hear from you!

Can you spare a minimum of 2 hours a week to broadcast a live programme to the patients and staff of Arrowe Park?

Radio Assistants – This is someone who helps in the day to day running of Arrowe Sound, such as fundraising, music updating, Technical Operations, Imagining Producing, collecting requests from our listeners and other behind the scenes areas to keep us on air!

Can you spare a minimum commitment of 1 hour per week, every week?

Arrowe Sound Hospital Radio has an annual fee for Members which is currently £30 (or £15 for the unwaged). Subscriptions are renewed on 31st January each year. All money raised through subscriptions pay towards the general running costs of the station.

Please note that for insurance reasons we are unable to offer work experience placements, and membership is only open to over 18s.
