What Is Your Show Called Friday Night Floor Fillers
What Day is your Show on? Friday
What Time is your show? 7pm – 9pm
Tell us a bit more about you!
By day, I work full-time for an engineering company, but when Friday night comes around, it’s all about the music. House music has always been my passion, and I love everything about it, from listening and DJing to making my own tracks. I’m also a keen singer, so music really is a huge part of my life. I’m excited to bring the biggest floorfillers and start your weekend off right every Friday night from 7 till 9!
How did you get involved with Arrowe Sound?
My journey with Arrowe Sound started when I enquired about getting involved in radio at Dee 106.3 in Chester. They suggested that hospital radio would be a great place to gain experience and develop my broadcasting skills. I took their advice, joined Arrowe Sound, and I’ve never looked back. It’s given me a fantastic opportunity to share my passion for music and connect with listeners every week.
What do you get up to when you’re not on air?
Away from the radio, I work full-time and enjoy socialising with family and friends. I love going to gigs and live music events, and when I’m not out and about, you’ll usually find me listening to music, making my own tracks, or singing. I also enjoy running and recently completed a half marathon at Oulton Park, which was a fantastic achievement and a challenge I thoroughly enjoyed!
What can we expect from your show?
Expect two hours of the biggest Friday night floor fillers, packed with the latest and greatest in house and dance music. I love discovering new music, so you’ll always hear fresh tracks alongside some of the biggest anthems. My musical tastes range from house and dance to a bit of drum and bass and techno, with artists such as Becky Hill, Sonny Fodera, MK and Meduza all featuring regularly. Whether you’re getting ready for a night out or just want to start your weekend in style, my show will have something for everyone.
Tell us something interesting we might not know about you
Something people might not know about me is that alongside my full-time job and passion for music, I’ve recently passed an auditing qualification, which I’m really proud of. I’m also quite a creative person, whether it’s making music, singing, or finding new ways to challenge myself, I always like to keep busy!
