STATION MANAGER - Keith Robertshaw
Friday nights

Station manager Keith has over 20 years broadcasting experience under his belt. Having worked at several Hospital and community radio stations, Keith became station manager in 2003. Since then, he has overseen some of the biggest changes in Arrowe Sound’s history, including the relocation to the new 2nd floor studios, and the implementation of its 24 hour broadcasting. Keith has also trained many of Arrowe Sound’s younger presenters.

SECRETARY - Pete Daly
Crackerjack

Pete makes a valuable contribution to the station in his role as secretary, and presents his lively 'Crackerjack' show live on a Sunday evening.

TREASURER - Andrew Scaife
Relax at Five, Sunday Special

Hospital Chaplin Andrew has been with Arrowe Sound for over 8 years, and also takes a hand in interviewing and training new presenters.

Anthony has been with us for 11 years, and seems to spend most of his time updating the station’s musical library!

Sunny Side Of The Street, Get Out Those Old Records, In The Drawing Room

Ken’s shows can be heard through the night on Arrowe Sound as part of ‘Night-time Classical’ each night from midnight through until 6am.

LINDA DOLMAN

Linda ‘The Quiet One’ Dolman is a member of the hospital's chaplains team, and detupises for Andrew on the Sunday Special

Thursday Lunchtime

Brian has been with Arrowe Sound for BLANK years, and his shows are always a hit with patients. Brian works within the NHS Trust, and is a member of the New Foundations Hospital Trust.

Sunday Evenings

Darren joined Arrowe Sound in December 2005 and has a vast knowledge of music and presents music you prefer to listen to.

PAUL HEAD
Wednesday Sport

Paul has been presenting with Arrowe Sound for 13 years now, and having had previous broadcasting experience at Radio City in Liverpool, Paul fronts the Wednesday Sport show.

GEOFF MORRIS
Manic Monday, Wicked Wednesday

Geoff is one of Arrowe Sound’s liveliest presenters. Since joining the station in 2003, ‘The Nighthawk’ has presented a range of programmes, including current favourites Manic Monday and Wicked Wednesday. Check out Geoff online at myspace.com/thenighthawk

ANNA PHILLIPS
Monday Nights

One of the station’s newest presenters, Anna has always wanted to be a radio presenter, and has had a life long interest in music. She started playing the Piano at the age of 9, and never stops playing her mp3! Anna is also a keen vocalist and at 19 appeared on the hit ITV show 'Popstars'.

JAMIE PRESTON
Sunday Sport Special

Jamie is one of Arrowe Sound’s most energetic presenters. Taking responsibility for the station’s ‘Myspace’ page, Jamie is also a key member of the sports team, and was the man who brought live commentaries back to Arrowe Sound for the 2007/8 football season.

RAY OXLEY
The Golden Years, The Comedy Hour

With over 12 years experience under his belt, Ray says it was easy to get into radio when he has the perfect face for it, and the BBC turned him down for Dr Who. Ray introduces the Comedy Hour and the Golden Years daily on Arrowe Sound

BERT SHROEDER
Thursday Afternoon

Bert is the man behind Arrowe Sound’s online broadcasting. Bert puts a lot of time into editing and uploading recorded shows for broadcast on Live365. Bert is known on the airwaves as Mr Big Band and has also worked on the local 7Waves community radio in New Brighton.

RICHARD SMITH
A to Z Of Pop

Richard has over 20 years broadcasting experience behind him. He started at Nottingham Hospital Radio, before being a major part of the launch of Radio Robin in Ilkeston. Richard is perhaps the most listened to voice on UK hospital radio, with his A to Z of Pop show going out daily across UK hospital radio stations.

JOHN TAYLOR
Saturday Sport

Evertonian John is currently enjoying his second stint at Arrowe Sound, where he has enjoyed a total of 4 years broadcasting. John can be heard every Saturday afternoon.

MICKEY TAYLOR
Friday Evenings

Mickey may be one of the station’s youngest presenters, but his shows are still top quality, and nobody mixes A-level studying with superb broadcasting like he does. Mikey joined the station in Autumn 2005, and presents lively shows with a mix of great middle of the road music.

NICK TEALE
This Is Their Musical Life

Nick started his broadcasting career right here at Arrowe Sound. Now a presenter at Coastways Radio in Brighton, Nick can still be heard on Arrowe Sound presenting pre-recorded shows such as ’This Is Their Musical Life’ and the special ‘Liverpool 800’, originally broadcast live to commemorate Liverpool’s 800th anniversary in August 2007. Nick also returns to his roots during the summer months to broadcast especially for you, and can often be heard as a guest presenter covering shows during holiday seasons.

WALTER WATERS
Monday Lunchtimes

Walter ‘Wally’ Waters is one of Arrowe Sound’s newest presenters, joining the ranks in summer 2007. Wally can often be spotted on the wards up to an hour before his show, chatting to patients and gather requests.
